As the years pass, my style may tweak and evolve slightly (I don’t like the word “change” there as it doesn’t really change) one thing that’s constant is my love for all things Burgundy and red. Earlier this year in fact, I went platinum blonde; it was fun but really wasn’t me (plus the damage the bleach did to my usually healthy locks was awful) I went back to my beloved Auburn colour and I feel back to myself again. Autumn in Vancouver can be a bit miserable as it does have a tendency to rain or be overcast a good majority of the time and if you suffer from low moods and anxiety, that can make it worse, BUT when you get those sunny days it is truly magnificent! The colour of the trees and the crisp, chill in the air with a cup of coffee and cozy layers. Perfection!
My go to layers generally consist of a pair of faux-leathdr leggings and cozy sweater with a cozy, but stylish cape or poncho. On this particular day I even managed to curl my hair (usually a bloody difficult task as my hair doesn’t like being told what to do!)
Last year I even discovered love for Over-the knee boots and I’ve honestly been wearing them ever since and have several pairs of both high heels, low block heels and flat boots. An extra layer of warmth on your legs and so fun to wear too!
As for the accessories, I was looking, specifically, for a bag that looked nice but could hold my laptop comfortably. I found this gorgeous bag in H&M (not on the website but current stock in-store) for just $49!! It’s also lightweight without anything in it so when I put in my every day essentials, it weighs pretty much nothing… perfect for your back/ shoulders. It does come with a shoulder strap but I do t often use it.
