As the nights draw in and the clocks go back an hour, the fireplaces glow and the cozy loungewear comes out again, I find myself often curling up in an armchair with a mug of something warm and cozy to watch some of my favourite YouTubers and while I follow many and have grown away from others there are a few that I will always watch for their high quality content, useful tips or comedy, here are my top 5 YouTubers you need to check out:
One of the few Youtubers that I have always followed, Victoria Magrath’s style an make-up tips were what I started watching and from pink to purple to platinum hair she has remained consistently amazing, always urging out high quality content and more recently vlogs that are so fun to watch. One of my favourite things about Victoria Magrath’s work is actually her blog; where some youtuber/ bloggers tend not to update their blogs much, Victoria takes as much a pride in her blog as she does in her YouTube channel and her posts about bullying, being yourself and positivity never fail to make me smile and also make me feel more empowered. In fact many of my make-up purchases have come from recommendations in her videos as it’s incredibly clear she only promotes things she actually uses and loves and the products I’ve found have all been great for my skin too. She’s also a sweetheart in person as I met her and the equally lovely Carly Rowena earlier in the Summer.
I’m relatively new to Christen Dominique’s beauty channel and I admit that I don’t follow any other beauty YouTubers but, drawn in by her recent American vs. French girl make-up tutorial, I have binge watched many of her tutorials of late, picking up ways to do my own make-up that I’ve always been terrible at before (eyebrows/ false eyelashes and contouring to be exact!).
I have barely missed a vlog from Suzie at Hello October of late, her day to day vlogs around Brighton and London are always fun and I can certainly say that I’ve found some great recent purchases from recommendations on her channel. Bonus, many of her vlogs and videos feature her bestie: Alix from I Covet Thee; another great UK YouTuber!
Dan & Phil Games ~ Daniel Howell/ Phil Lester
I’m not a big gamer, I used to be and spent a good amount of time on Tekken and Crash Bandicoot 3, something about the hilarity, self deprecating humour and screeching from Dan never fail to make me and my Husband laugh constantly. Even my Mum laughed loads when Dan fell off his chair during a Five Nights At Freddy’s jump-scare!
The day i found out that the theme music from Remi’s vlogs was actually a song by G.R.L. (called Vacation) I rushed to my spotify to download it. That music always makes me feel happy and it’s bouncy and bubbly as is the content in Remi’s daily life videos. It doesn’t matter how bad of a day I’m having when I watch Remi things just seem brighter! Plus major apartment decor inspiration; her apartment tour video is one of the best on YouTube!
