So these photos were taken on the last mild Fall day we had here in Vancouver! Exactly one week later (the following Saturday) it was snowing here! Oh that crazy ONE weather! Fall is that time when you can be unsure of what to throw on in the morning because it’s cold and frosty when you leave the house but by 2pm you’re peeling off layers of clothing before you collapse from over-heating.
Layers are an easy way to dress for any temperature. It’s worth mentioning that I don’t really feel the cold in my legs so a Sweater Dress and tights/ nylons are my go-to for Fall a lot of the time. In Fall I tend to layer with lighter pieces that keep me warm when I need them to but not too hot if the sun comes out and everything warms up. A good sweater dress and thicker fabric trench coat are perfect for this type of weather. Classic pieces that you can style lots of different ways. I often wear this dress as a Sweater (see here for details).
